Faith and Salvation

Product Overview

What is faith? Is faith necessary for salvation? Are we justified and saved by faith alone? These are questions which Catholics and Protestants have discussed and debated over the last five centuries, often with little or no agreement.

In this presentation, Robert Haddad looks at what Scripture says about faith, and how Catholic teaching is in conformity with the Biblical view. He also looks at the virtues of hope and charity and how they are necessary for salvation.

In the end, a Christian life that is not fruitful in charity is no Christian life at all. As St. Paul says, “If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing” (1 Cor 13:2).
